KEARNEY, Neb. - After a non-fatal electrocution of a Kearney resident in January, the Nebraska Public Power District wants to remind residents to never approach any downed power lines.
Media Relations specialist for the NPPD Grant Otten said the best course of action is to stay away from the area and alert your local power district and police department. Otten told KXCV/KRNW that if a power line falls on a vehicle you're in or near, there's an added danger.
